I'm going on a 3-month adventure around Asia. Planned desinations will be (in order)

Korea
Japan
Hong Kong
Thailand stop killing each other, please!

But there are so many other places I may wind up... (hopefully not jail or dead).

I am using this space as a blog, and as a way to dump the dailies I take from my camera (Panasonic GH1 and Samsung TL320). I want those who are interested to get a daily-updated, unfiltered view of my crazy Asian adventure.

Post

Fuck yeah all-nighter!

Just got back from a club in Shibuya called Loop.  Its supposed to be a really badass club that spins house. What a….weird experience? I was the only one there for like two hours (excluding the dj, DJ Nori, and his friend, who were both really cool people). Then some white people showed up, this sloppy chick and her friend. Apparently they were arrested earlier that day for stealing bikes in Tokyo. Fucking gaijin, they’re screwing it up for the rest of us nice caucasians. Then they smoked a whole bunch in my face and talked really loud and made me look like another ignorant, insensitive white person to the natives. How embarrassing!

Oh, but after they left, their presence sparked a few conversations between me, DJ Nori’s friend, the bartender, and some other girls throughout the night. They spoke just enough English and I spoke just enough Japanese to communicate some feelings on an abstract idea as their views on foreigners in Japan…and some other subjects, I forgot now cause I spent like a million dollars on drinks. Oh snap speaking of which! I just discovered an AWESOME drink!! DJ Nori’s friend taught it to me. Its called a China Blue and has lychee liqueur, grapefruit juice, and some other stuff I dunno click on the damn link you lazy American. Shits boooomb. I love lychee!!

Mmm, maybe I’ll save the rest of the story/stories for my Japan - Day 7 blog. Wait holy crap!? I haven’t even blogged about the first day!!  Damnit I’m so far behind, I’m sorry everyone!!

Tomorrow (well, in like 4 hours), David and I fly out to Hong Kong. HOLY SHIT WE’RE FLYING TO HONG KONG!!!! I can’t believe this will be our third country we’ve hit this month. It’s been such a ride…

I gotta get ready and pack and head off to Narita airport in one half our. Lets see if I can finish a Japan - Day 1 blog post in that time?  Highly doubtful, but I’ll try! Cause sleep is for losers.

I’m soo sleepy -_-;; (its 4:40am, and I’ve been dancing for the past 5 hours…)

Love you!!
